For his Project Bethanien, Berlin dancer and choreographer Raimund Hoghe continues his series of site-specific projects. Hoghe approaches the space by means of a fragmented encounter, at first with the historical and social inscriptions of the space itself, secondly with recourse to scenes and moments from his former pieces. By connecting vivid tableaus and fragments of individual and collective memory, Hoghe creates a multilayered, fragile continuity, in which the stage itself appears as a precarious site of corporeality and visibility.
Für das „Projekt Bethanien, Berlin“ setzt der Tänzer und Choreograph Raimund Hoghe seine Reihe ortsspezifischer Projekte fort. Hoghe nähert sich dem Raum in einer fragmentarischen Auseinandersetzung, einerseits im Hinblick auf die historischen und sozialen Einschreibungen des Raums selbst, andererseits in Form eines Rückgriffs auf Szenen und Momente seiner früheren Arbeiten. In einem Verschalten belebter Tableaus, wie Versatzstücken individuellen und kollektiven Gedächtnisses, schafft Hoghe so eine vielschichtige, fragile Kontinuität, welche die Bühne selbst zum prekären Austragungsort von Erinnerung, Körperlichkeit und Sichtbarkeit werden lässt.
